For those looking to get away from it all, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula is an ideal destination.
No matter where you are in the U.P., natural beauty and undisturbed wilderness are never far away. To really explore everything this area of the state has to offer, lace up your boots and take a hike on one of these amazing trails.
- Houghton Waterfront Trail: This mostly paved trail offers spectacular views of a series of waterfront parks and connects to several miles of nature trails to explore.
- Iron Ore Heritage Trail: Explore 47 miles of scenic, wooded, multi-use trail crossing the Marquette Iron Range.
