With summer winding down, kids might not be the only ones stressing about going back to school. For some parents, getting children to eat healthy at lunch time can be a challenge, and there isn’t always enough time on hand to plan elaborate, gourmet packed lunches for them. So what’s a parent to do?
Luckily, there are small ways to make a big difference.
It isn’t always necessary to pack kids a completely balanced meal, but it’s helpful enough just to make sure you’re serving them the right portions. If your kids are eating smaller meals, with snacks in between, they’re already taking a step in a healthier direction.

So start this school year off right by feeding your children healthier lunches, in appropriate portions. You’ll not only be doing them a favor now, but you’ll be setting them up for a much happier, and healthier, life.
