#MIBigGreenGym: Michigan Outdoors Twitter Chat June 27
| 2 min read
Michigan is home to some of the country’s best parks, trails and outdoor recreation facilities. Not to mention, there are endless ways to get active and spend time with family and friends enjoying the great outdoors any time of year.
From hiking, biking, paddling, fishing, walking, sailing, skiing, running, swimming and climbing — you can do it all in the Great Lakes State with the help of #MIBigGreenGym.
On Tuesday, June 27, join the #MIBigGreenGym team and our host, 9&10 Journalist Michelle Dunaway, for a Twitter chat about staying healthy and active in Michigan this summer.
MI Big Green Gym is a collaboration between Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, the Michigan Parks and Recreation Association and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
From tips on finding the best hidden gems in our state parks, to the top places to catch a Michigan sunset, to healthy summer recipes to pack on your next camping trip, we’ll cover it all.
During the chat we’ll also have experts on hand from @HealthierMI, @MiParksRec and the @MichiganDNR to answer your questions about Michigan’s great outdoors.
Before you pack up for the Fourth of July holiday, join us on Twitter on June 27 from 11 a.m. to noon EST to join in on the #MIBigGreenGym Twitter chat. See you then!
