Harvest Wildflowers Now; Make Herbal Tea this Winter

While you might not want to think about cold season now, it will be here soon enough.
Lisa Rose, a Grand Rapids-based forager, herbalist, and author, shared her recipe for Burdock & Rose Wildflower Gypsy Tea, which she said is great to drink at the onset of a cold.
The tea blend uses a variety of plants you can actually harvest now. Dry them so they’re ready to use when you’re in need of tea or use them fresh if you want to try it now. Rose said you should brew this traditional blend in a covered pot so that the aromatics of the plants don’t evaporate away and drink while hot.
