If you’re reading this blog right now, chances are you’re alive and hopefully breathing, but are you breathing properly? We recently attended Live Healthy Live Grand on Mackinac Island at the Grand Hotel and went to Sunrise Yoga with instructor, Christy Stempky, who told us that many people aren’t breathing properly.
Breathe
Breathing properly significantly improves your health and allows you to remain well because it helps relieve your body of toxins 15 times faster than shallow breathing. When you’re stressed out, chances are you start breathing through your mouth and taking more shallow breaths. Breath control is one of the main benefits of doing yoga along with stress relief.
Check out what Health Coach and Yoga instructor Christy Stempky has to say about how important it is to breathe properly.
