| 2 min read
‘Tis the season to be jolly – or so the song goes. However, many people feel gloomy during the winter months despite the upbeat holiday festivities. Roughly half a million Americans suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.), and many others experience at least some symptoms of this recognized form of depression. Luckily, Blue Care Network is ready to brighten up December with healthy, uplifting, and fun ideas to combat the effects of colder and shorter days.
From now until December 21, visit Blue Care Network on Facebook to indulge in a daily dose of brightness. We might be sharing the latest cheesy joke to circulate BCN’s office, insight into the winter blues and how to beat them, or an inspiring quote to keep your attitude sunny. Each random act of brightness will help count down the days until the Winter Solstice on December 21, which marks the official start of winter and – most importantly – the gradual return of longer days!
And please don’t hesitate to join the conversation on Facebook and Twitter. Our random acts of brightness might include some unexpected rewards for those who do!
