As we move into February, the color red, hearts, Valentine’s Day, and love surround us. You can’t go anywhere the entire month without being reminded of love and hearts. Perhaps it’s fitting that February is also American Heart Month, and Friday, February 7th is National Wear Red Day in honor of heart disease awareness.
To advocate for heart disease awareness in your area and #GoRedForWomen, find your local events across the state throughout the month of February.
In February, and all year long, you can help raise awareness about heart disease by educating yourself, wearing read, speaking up, and uniting with women all over America. For more information, educational resources, and events around the state, visit the American Heart Association.
