Can’t wait for spring training to get your baseball fix? Meet your favorite Detroit players during their annual winter caravan, happening this Thursday and Friday, Jan. 22 and 23.
Tigers President, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager David Dombrowski, Vice President/Assistant General Manager Al Avila, Special Assistant to the General Manager Alan Trammell, Manager Brad Ausmus, coaches, players, broadcasters, and Detroit’s mascot, Paws, will hit the road to visit fans across Michigan.
Two buses will make more than 30 stops, including 12 new locations and three cities never before visited by the caravan. The Metro bus will make a stop in Northville, while the North Bus will debut in Lake City and Grayling.
Public events will take place in Detroit, Rochester Hills, Sterling Heights, Troy, Williamsburg, and Frankenmuth.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is sponsoring an appearance on Friday, Jan. 23 at the Northern Michigan Rotary Club Alliance Business Breakfast, which is a fundraiser for the Rotary clubs in Cadillac, Traverse City, Bellaire, and Petoskey. The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. Tigers representatives will participate in a rally with Rotary Club members and guests.
