‘Tis the season – of gift shopping! Over the next few weeks, most of us will be scrambling to find gifts for our family and friends. Rather than wandering aimlessly through malls hoping to spot the perfect gift, it’s often best to brainstorm ideas ahead of time. If you know what you want to buy early on, you can search for the best price in the most convenient place.
So in the spirit of being proactive, here are some ideas on what to get the fitness enthusiast in your life:
Yurbuds: If you’ve ever worked out while listening to music, chances are you’ve run into multiple annoyances with your headphones. Yurbuds were designed by athletes to endure workouts. Among their many benefits, the headphones stay put comfortably during a workout and allow ambient noise, so outdoor runners can remain aware of their surroundings.
Icebreaker Gear: Icebreaker is a great athletic clothing brand that is gaining popularity. Made out of merino wool – the material is natural, soft, moisture wicking, and keeps you comfortable in any temperature.
Foam Rollers: After an extreme workout, foam rollers allow you to give yourself an at home message to reduce muscle fatigue/soreness. Addaday has a nice travel version of their roller, which is light weight and portable.
Saucony Jacket: For outdoor runners and walkers, Saucony has a great jacket that is water and wind resistant. Jackets come in various bright colors and light up to keep people visible during all hours of the day.
