Cinnamon Apple Pie Overnight Oats

1⁄3 cup old fashioned oats
1⁄2 cup low-fat milk or milk substitute
2 tbsp Greek yogurt
1⁄2 cup apples, chopped
1⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon
1⁄8 tsp salt
1 tsp honey
2 tsp chia seeds

Step 1
Start with your oats – stick with old fashioned rolled oats for the best texture. For me, 1/2 cup makes the perfect amount of overnight oats for my breakfast.
Step 2
You want to add twice as much liquid as oats. You can use any kind of milk – I like oat milk.
Step 3
Now, here’s my secret ingredient: Greek yogurt. It adds protein and makes the oats super creamy.
Step 4
Finally, add your sweeteners, spices and other toppings, and don’t forget a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors. Cover with a lid and refrigerate overnight. That’s it!
